Play in the corn, shoot the corn, or find your way through the corn. Slide down the slides, jump on the giant pillow, or climb on the web. Every weekend through October 27 Stade’s Farm & Market celebrates fall in a big way. Over 20 activities are waiting for the kids during Shades of Autumn at Stade’s Farm & Market in McHenry, Illinois, enough to keep them—and you—entertained for hours. The entire family can take on the corn maze challenge, ride pedal cars, or watch the pumpkin cannon shoot pumpkins up to a half mile away.
Slide through Happy Harvester or ride Frank the Combine. The kids can play in the sand pit or climb on the sand tires.
The veggie ride is fun for the kids, too.
And the outing wouldn’t be complete without a hayride out to the pumpkin patch, where you can pick any pumpkin for $5.00.
On Sundays at 10 a.m. Stade’s hosts non-denominational outdoor church services. The public is invited to attend and stay afterward for coffee and fresh apple cider donuts.
You’ll want to purchase some donuts to take home too, along with pies and fresh market produce.
Stade’s Farm & Market is located at 3709 W Miller Road, McHenry Illinois. Check their web site for exact times and admission fees.
