Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of co-interviewing Peter Billingsley, who played Ralphie in the “A Christmas Story” movie. The interview was a press conference to promote the Ralphie & the Gang Come Home event taking place at the Indiana Welcome Center in Hammond, Indiana, December 16-17. The cast is reuniting that weekend for the first time in two decades for a meet-and-greet with "A Christmas Story" fans. Admission is free, but tickets, available online, are required. (You can also opt for a virtual visit, if you can’t make it to the event.) Read more about the event—and my interview with Peter Billingsley—in our latest Midwest Wanderer article. When we visited Botanica in Visit Wichita in August, they were already putting up holiday lights. I can only imagine how beautiful their Illuminations display is, especially knowing it's been named in the Top 10 Best Light Shows in the U.S. It's definitely on my list to see... maybe next year. ...
